Travel and Lodging

Nantucket in the summer is not hard to get to but if you do not plan early, it can get a bit pricey. I recommend you make reservations sooner rather than later.

We moved the race time forward to 8:00 AM to give teams a chance to come over to the island on the morning ferry. This saves one nights lodging. There are two ferries that arrive on Nantucket before race time and both ferries are within walking distance of the start / transport point. Also, there should be at least two ferries leaving after the race if you decide not to stay the night.

Of course, you can always fly.

Beachside Resort
